The Christie NHS Foundation Trust .This role is responsible for the operational and technical management of fire safety for the Estates and Facilities Division and the Trust. Working for the Senior Fire Safety Officer, the role will support and undertake all aspects of fire safety management required to ensure that the Trust is compliant with the FireCode (HTM 05-02), the Trust Fire Strategy, and to support other divisions within Estates and Facilities as required (e.g., policy and procedure development). The key areas of responsibility include fire safety audits and risk assessments, training, evacuation procedures, and fire compartmentation.Responsibilities

Work with the Senior Fire Officer, Specialist Consultants and all staff to ensure compliance with the FireCode (HTM 05-02) and associated fire legislation.Coordinate and ensure training is up to date, recorded, and reported across the Trust.Collaborate with senior Estates and Facilities colleagues to communicate and implement operational and tactical delivery of fire safety management policies and procedures.Prepare written reports for governance meetings on behalf of the Senior Fire Officer, Head of Technical Estates – Hard FM, and Head of Estates and Facilities as required.Refer to the full job description for the comprehensive list of duties.About the Christie
