Job Overview Senior Fire Engineer role based remotely with site work across the South Coast, supporting residential and commercial projects. The position focuses on fire strategies, fire risk assessments, and regulatory compliance, including fa ade remediation and external wall assessments. Suited to an experienced candidate seeking autonomy within a growing consultancy, managing multiple projects and contributing to technical delivery and client outcomes.Role and ResponsibilitiesDeliver fire strategies for residential and commercial schemesUndertake fire risk assessments (Type 1-4)Provide input on fa ade remediation and EWS1 workLiaise with design teams and contractorsPrepare technical reports and compliance documentationManage multiple projects independentlySupport client meetings and technical discussionsEnsure delivery aligns with UK regulationsMaintain quality and programme standardsContribute to team and service developmentSkills and Experience RequiredMinimum 3+ years in fire engineering or surveyingStrong knowledge of UK fire safety legislationExperience with fire strategies and FRA reportsAbility to manage projects independentlyStrong communication and organisation skillsExperience working with multidisciplinary teamsKnowledge of fa ade systems beneficialWorking towards or achieved IFE membership preferredComfortable in client-facing environmentsProactive and adaptable approachSalary and Benefits 55,000 - 75,000 depending on experience.
