Senior Fire Engineer

A progressive fire consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join their established team. This is an ideal role for a Senior Fire Engineer seeking technical responsibility, project ownership and the opportunity to mentor junior engineers.

The Senior Fire Engineer''s Role

The successful Senior Fire Engineer will lead fire strategy development, undertake technical design reviews, attend client and design team meetings, and provide robust fire safety advice across a wide range of projects. The Senior Fire Engineer will support the delivery of residential, commercial, leisure and education schemes.

The Senior Fire Engineer

The successful Senior Fire Engineer will have:

A degree in Fire Engineering or a related subject
Strong experience producing fire strategy reports
Knowledge of Approved Document B, BS 9999 and BS 7974
Experience managing projects independently
Strong communication and client-facing skills
IFE membership or Chartership progression would be beneficial
