ClearAccept, part of the ClearCourse Group, is recruiting a Financial Operations Administrator to support regular and ad-hoc business-critical processes across ClearAccept''s operational finance function. This permanent role is based in Maidenhead or London with the ability to work in a hybrid setup and supports the growth of the team by ensuring the smooth running of the Fin Ops function. The successful candidate should bring experience in a finance department and the appetite and energy to learn about all aspects of the department.

Responsibilities

Support regular and ad-hoc business-critical processes across the operational finance function.Contribute to the smooth running of the Financial Operations (Fin Ops) function to support growth.Bring experience from a finance department to ensure a fast start and enable learning across all aspects of the department.

Required Skills and Experience

Must have experience in payment services: Proven background in the payments industry (e.g., for an Acquirer or PSP), with familiarity with terms like "merchant," "net settlement," "gross settlement," and "high volume transaction reconciliation."Curiosity and problem-solving: Able to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues independently.Analytical mindset: Ability to analyse large datasets, spot variances, and reconcile accounts with precision.Attention to detail: Meticulous handling of high-volume transaction data.Numeracy and Excel skills: Proficient with MS Excel, including complex formulas for data analysis.Communication and collaboration: Effective working with cross-functional teams and clear communication of findings.Task ownership: Proactive attitude and responsibility for tasks from start to finish.Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
