Senior Finite Element Analyst - Transmissions and Chassis

Our client, a global strategic, environmental, and engineering consulting company, is currently seeking a Senior Finite Element Analyst - Transmissions and Chassis to join their team in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire on a contractual basis. This role is pivotal in aiding the design of transmission and chassis systems through sophisticated linear and nonlinear FE analysis using Abaqus and Hyperworks. This is a leading role, encompassing significant responsibilities from concept to production design, including managing junior team members and interfacing directly with clients.Key Responsibilities:Lead analysis tasks on medium and large transmission and chassis projectsApply theoretical knowledge and engineering techniques to solve analytical engineering problemsBuild high-fidelity FE models for transmission, suspension, and chassis systems using commercial CAE tools based on CAD and other engineering dataConduct linear and nonlinear, static and dynamic FE analysisPrepare detailed technical presentations for both internal and client project engineering reviewInterface with internal and external clients to deliver updates, design recommendations, and analysis resultsPerform technical supervision of junior team membersWork with proposal leaders to develop scope of work and estimate resource needsAssist with technique and analysis methodology developmentPerform other job-related duties as assignedKey Competencies and Experience:Understanding of transmission, suspension, and chassis ..... full job details .....
