SENIOR FINISHER - LARGE FORMAT / SIGNAGE

-33K - 37K (with a 6-month employment and salary review) + 29 Days Holiday (Including Bank Holidays)

Our client is a leading signage and large format graphics company based in the Hertfordshire area. They are currently looking for a Senior Finisher / Zund Operator to join their existing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Working in a busy finishing department with various media and substrates.
• Machine finishing, familiarity with a Zund table cutter (Essential) and JWEI (desirable)
• Hand finishing - standard signage work, working with vinyl surface mount to composite panels, and sometimes wrapped edge panels, wood signage & acrylic signage, etc.
• Proficiency with drills and hand tools would be a tremendous asset, as occasionally the company needs to make mechanical fixes and fabricate some elements.
• Attention to detail, especially for projects that involve multiple sites.
• Manage and mentor their apprentices, helping them gain valuable experience and flourish in their roles.

Requirements:

• Experience with acrylic face mounts; where a printed image is applied and bonded to the back of a sheet of acrylic to be viewed through the sheet. These are often finished with a split batten hanging system on the reverse.
• Someone with the right skills who fits the team dynamic well, someone full of energy, with a positive attitude and a true passion for this industry.
