We are supporting a large Financial Services Organisation with the appointment of a Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join its Group Finance function.Client DetailsA company in the financial services industry based in Manchester.DescriptionLead the preparation and delivery of Group annual reporting and subsidiary financial statementsManage complex Group consolidations across a multi-entity structureAct as a key contact for external auditors and support the full audit lifecyclePrepare and review technical accounting papers covering key judgements, estimates and transactionsProvide technical guidance across IFRS and UK GAAP reporting mattersSupport accounting assessments relating to acquisitions, reorganisations, financing arrangements and other corporate transactionsDrive improvements to financial reporting controls, processes and governanceProvide technical leadership, challenge and peer review to divisional finance teamsBuild strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider businessCoach and develop finance professionals, helping to strengthen technical capability across the teamProfileYou will be a technically strong finance professional with significant experience in external reporting, Group reporting or financial control.You will ideally have:ACA qualification with strong post-qualified experienceBig Four audit background, ideally with industry experienceStrong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAPExperience of complex Group ..... full job details .....
