Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

The Company Able Bridge Recruitment are thrilled to be working with a challenger business in the recruitment of a senior financial planning and analysis specialist on an initial 3 month contract with a view to permanency. This vacancy is a newly created role and will report to the chief financial officer who is located internationally but will also work close very closely/line managed by the head of finance who is Edinburgh based. The position will be office based for at least 3 days per week and theoretically could be worked from either Edinburgh or London (Strong desire for the role to be Edinburgh based and frequent travel to Edinburgh will be required). The Responsibilities The purpose of this role is to provide MandA support, financial modelling expertise, BCapital funding advice and land acquisition support. On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following; Develop and maintain robust financial models to assist senior leadership in evaluating group performance and ensuring alignment with corporate strategy Including building operational projections and financial models, evaluating deal impacts on earnings and cashflow on MandA activity Preparation and ownership of annual budget Supporting and developing all aspects of financial planning, forecasting and analysis including but not limited to: Maintain rolling forecast and variance analysis, adapting to a high-growth business Reviewing the impact of decisions on cashflow Collaborate and ..... full job details .....
