OakRock is partnering with a successful and growing organisation to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant for their finance team based in Cheltenham.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to join a collaborative, forward-thinking business where they can play a key role in financial reporting, controls, and business improvement initiatives.The RoleReporting into senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting statutory and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvements across finance processes.Key responsibilities include:Preparation of monthly and annual financial statementsSupporting the year-end audit process and statutory accounts productionManaging balance sheet reconciliations and financial controlsAssisting with budgeting and forecasting processesProducing financial analysis and management informationSupporting tax, VAT, and compliance reporting requirementsIdentifying and implementing process improvements across the finance functionWorking closely with stakeholders across the wider businessAbout YouWe''re keen to speak with qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who can demonstrate:Strong financial accounting and reporting experienceExperience preparing statutory accounts and supporting auditsExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesA proactive approach and desire to improve processesWhat''s on ..... full job details .....
