And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.Role Purpose:The Senior Fixed Asset Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate records of fixed assets transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, including IFR16, and supporting timely month-end close and reporting activities across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global customers.Key Accountabilities:Maintain and reconciled the fixed asset subledger, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, disposals and transfers in accordance with IFRS and company policiesEnsure timely and accurate execution of month-end close activities, including preparation of fixed asset roll-forwards, reconciliations and variance analysisApply IFRS16 accounting standards to lease related assets, including right of use asset recognition, amortization and remeasurementCollaborate with global CAPEX team in tracking key project achievements to ensure timely placing of assets into service.Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation and responding to audit inquiriesAssist in the implementation and continuous improvement of fixed assets accounting processes and internal controlsParticipate in global process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy and compliance in fixed asset accountingProvide guidance and support to team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the teamKey requirements:Part Qualified ACCA/CIMAIn-depth knowledge of IFRS, IFRS16 knowledge is desirableKnowledge of Assets Management – SAP ModuleAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and to collaborate with various levels of management.Understanding of work stream connection of Fixed Assets activities to other functionsStrong deductive and analytical skillsHands on knowledge of SAP ERPEvery day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
