Financial Reporting AccountantI am recruiting a Financial Reporting Accountant for a private equity backed multi-site client based in Central London. My client has grown significantly through acquisitions, and they are in the process of re-engineering their finance function which includes the insourcing of the statutory accounting function. This brand-new position offers you the opportunity to shape and strengthen statutory reporting across a rapidly scaling PE-backed multisite real estate business. It is a high impact position with direct access to both senior leadership and investors.Key responsibilities:Support the end-to-end production of statutory accounts for the Group under IFRS as well as maintaining the Group consolidation. Maintain and update Group accounting policies in line with any IFRS and FRS 101 developments.Prepare technical accounting papers for areas such as leases, revenue, impairment, financial instruments, business combinations, and going concern.Support month-end and quarter-end close on technically complex areas feeding into external reporting.Help plan, coordinate, and deliver the annual audit across multiple entities under tight timelines.Provide additional support to certain Treasury function tasks including cash flow reporting, payment runs and liquidity management.Work with the wider finance team to ensure strong control frameworks and reliable reporting.Your profile:Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 3 years post qualified ..... full job details .....
