What You''ll Do:As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will:Deliver Financial Support: Provide senior-level financial insights to ensure compliance with regulations and the production of unqualified annual accounts.Oversee Annual Accounts: Coordinate the preparation of statutory requirements, including prime statements and Whole Government Accounts.Lead Training Initiatives: Deliver training sessions to the Finance Department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Manage Relationships: Liaise with actuaries, valuers, and external bodies to maintain accurate valuations and sustain key relationships.Develop Strategies: Support the Head of Financial Accounting in developing strategies and systems, ensuring robust processes are in place for accuracy and consistency.
