Senior Finance Officer

Senior Finance OfficerReed Accountancy is recruiting a Senior Finance Officer to manage core transactional finance across multiple entities. The role focuses on reconciliations, income processing, reporting and supporting budget holders.Main ResponsibilitiesBanking and reconciliationsProcess and post bank transactionsReconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepanciesMonitor direct debits and investigate unusual itemsIncome and sales ledgerProcess and reconcile income from multiple sourcesMaintain the sales ledger, including invoicing and allocationsSubmit quarterly Gift Aid claimsRaise ad hoc invoices and handle queriesJournals and month-endPost intercompany and recharge journalsReconcile investment accountsSupport month-end and audit requirementsBudget monitoringTrack spend against budget and identify variancesCheck coding accuracy across cost centresProduce and distribute monthly budget reportsSupport non-finance stakeholders with queriesOther dutiesReconcile project or trip accountsMaintain Excel reporting toolsSupport process improvements and provide cover where neededRequirementsExperience in transactional finance (reconciliations, income, journals, sales ledger)Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeepingGood Excel and accounting system skills Netsuite is advantageousAbility to work accurately with high volumes of dataClear communication with non-finance stakeholdersDesirable:AAT, ACCA or CIMA (part or fully qualified)Experience in a multi-entity environmentIn ..... full job details .....
