Senior Finance Manager

Location: Greater Manchester Salary: Up to £80,000 + bonus Hybrid: Flexible hybrid working An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Record-to-Report (RTR) Manager to join a high-performing finance function within a growing and evolving organisation on the outskirts of Manchester. This is a key role in a successful business, in which you''ll be responsible for leading the RTR function, while also playing a significant role in finance transformation, process improvement and systems development. You will combine strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise with a commercially minded, improvement-focused approach, helping to strengthen controls, improve reporting and drive greater efficiency across the finance function. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Record-to-Report team, ensuring a high-quality month-end and year-end close. Own the integrity and accuracy of the Group''s general ledger, balance sheet and financial reporting. Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany accounting. Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with Group accounting policies and relevant accounting standards. Partner with FPandA, commercial finance and wider Finance teams to improve the quality and timeliness of reporting. Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate finance processes.
