This is a high-visibility role within a busy finance function, offering the chance to drive process improvement, develop the management accounting team and partner closely with senior stakeholders across the group. Key responsibilities will include: Owning the full month-end and year-end close cycle: journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and balance sheet reviews. Producing monthly management accounts with clear commentary, KPI analysis and variance explanations for senior leadership. Directly line-managing the management accounting team (Team of 8), including workload planning, performance management, coaching and development. Reviewing and approving management accountants'' work: P&L, balance sheet, flux analysis and month-end packs. Maintaining and enhancing financial controls, policies and governance across the management accounting function.
