Senior Finance Manager / Head of Finance

Our client is a well respected and funded business operating within the Construction and House Building Industry.As part of the company''s ongoing success and expansion into the East of England, Nenebrook have been engaged to assist with the recruitment of Qualified Accountant to join the business as either Senior Finance Manager or Head of Finance.This position is being recruited to initially have mentorship by a highly experienced Finance Director however with a clear path over the next 12 months to move into a Finance Director position and take ownership of your own newly created region.OverviewAssist the Finance Director with the day-to-day leadership of the finance team adhering to Group reporting deadlinesOversight of the month end process for the region (c.£150m annual turnover), including but not limited to;Monthly WIP recoverability review which involves constructively working with the commercial department in identifying how and when WIP will be recoveredResponsible for reviewing journals and balance sheet reconciliations produced by 2 direct reportsReview of monthly management accounts, including commentary on monthly and YTD performance versus budgetPreparation/review of stat packs/supporting schedules at year end for reporting into groupUndertaking frequent margin analysis against budget and forecast whilst also identifying risks/opportunities and communicating these to FD/MDOwnership of fortnightly cashflow reporting due to group with a focus on WIP control by ..... full job details .....
