Senior Finance Manager

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end finance function for a growing and commercially focused organisation based in Birmingham. This is a hands-on role that combines technical financial excellence with strong business partnering, supporting senior stakeholders with insight, analysis, and decision-making.Reporting into the Finance Director, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, improving processes, and supporting the wider business through high-quality reporting and commercial analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting and ControlFull ownership of month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliationsPreparation and review of monthly management accounts with clear commentary and insightsEnsure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial reportingSupport year-end processes and liaise with external auditorsBudgeting, Forecasting and PlanningLead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with senior stakeholdersProduce rolling forecasts and cashflow projectionsTrack performance against budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunitiesBusiness Partnering and Commercial AnalysisAct as a trusted finance business partner to senior leaders and department headsProvide detailed financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisionsDevelop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to drive performance and accountabilityChallenge assumptions ..... full job details .....
