About the RoleReporting to the GBandI Finance Director you will provide analytical and operational finance support to the GBandI market as well as being the main point of contact for the EMEA and Group teams for any finance matters. The role will be based in Malmesbury.

Oversee the budgeting and quarterly forecasting process within the market. Work closely with the Demand and Sales planning team as well as the GBandI Leadership Team to agree on timelines and deliverables for each part of the PandL

Work with other members of the market finance team to establish a total market view of volume and profit for the current month. Ensure that Regional leadership are kept informed on current performance.

Act as the main finance contact for the GB and Ireland audits: collating and supplying evidence to auditors, liaising with internal teams, and responding to operational and process-related queries.

Business partner Head of marketing with forecasting and spend control

Business partner with commercial director to drive strategy and delivery of financial results across all direct channels and B2B, including webshop, marketplaces and stores

Support FD with specific/ad hoc requests from Global and Regional leadership

About You

A bias for action, with high levels of resilience and drive, able to see the strategic big picture but also to roll sleeves up and get into the detail and delivery of financial projects.

Energetic, engaging and pacey, with high EQ and the ability to motivate and inspire in a matrixed environment.

Clear communicator; decisive and excellent influencer.

Able to challenge all areas of activity, especially elements that ‘have always been done’ and recommend new approaches to meet financial objectives.

An effective and credible thought partner - commercially minded with a good grasp of key financial drivers and strong contract management skills.

Excellent analytical ability with a great attention to detail

A team player with a positive, ‘will do’ attitude

The ability to operate in a fast moving environment where plans often change on a weekly or even daily basis

Good communication skills with the ability to make Financial information accessible to non-Financial leads

Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritise workload and ability to work to strict deadlines

Desirable Attributes

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years experience in Commercial/FPandA roles

Previous experience of managing a budget process
