Senior Finance Manager

A growing and fast-paced organisation is seeking a dynamic Senior Group Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.

This senior position is central to ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the finance function, including financial reporting, analysis, and partnering with key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and challenging results where necessary.
• Monitor and analyse daily and monthly cashflow.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling for both the wider business and individual projects.
• Act as a finance business partner to teams across the organisation.
• Identify and implement process and reporting improvements.
• Analyse performance data across all income streams and provide recommendations to maximise profitability.
• Model and assess the financial impact of new business opportunities.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis on group profitability, highlighting areas of opportunity or concern.
• Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as required.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will thrive in a high-energy environment and demonstrate:

• Experience in a commercial organisation (retail experience advantageous).
• Ability to analyse large datasets, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience in financial modelling.
• Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confidence to challenge current practices and suggest improvements.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Proven experience in leading and developing a team.
