Senior Finance Business Partner

OverviewSenior Finance Business Partner role at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). 18-month opportunity based at Wythenshawe Hospital, supporting the Respiratory Division within the WTWA (Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington and Altrincham) area. The post holder will be a key member of the Senior Finance Leadership Team, providing financial leadership and strategic financial advice to support the division in achieving its financial plan and overall strategy. The role reports to the Deputy Director of Finance.

Responsibilities

Provide financial leadership to the Divisions, working with Clinical Directors and Divisional Directors to manage financial performance and the division’s financial plan.

Lead on strategic and operational finance for the division; deliver high-level financial expertise to influence decisions; act as the finance lead in the Divisional performance management structure.

Collaborate with Clinical Directors and Directorate Managers to ensure delivery of Directorate objectives and adherence to Financial Statutory obligations.

Develop the Divisions’ financial expertise and support the Clinical Directors in all financial matters.

Lead and develop the Divisional Finance Team (three staff) and contribute to the WTWA Finance Department objectives.

Deputise for the Deputy Director of Finance where appropriate.
