They will ideally have a background in private equity (not a requirement) and are used to a dynamic business environment where problem-solving and process implementation are attractive challenges. The candidate will be comfortable using large datasets to produce complex models which will support their understanding and forecasting of the Business Unit.Responsibilities
The Senior Finance Business Partner plays a strategic role in driving business performance by providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support. Partnering with business leaders across functions, this role ensures alignment between financial planning and operational execution, delivering value through data-driven insights. Where there are gaps in processes, the SFBP will highlight them and provide potential solutions.Month-end processing and analysisAccruals/Prepayments/WIP/Deferred postingsBS reconciliationsProduction of departmental management accounts before presentations to CFO/Head of FPandAForecastingAnnual BudgetMonthly rolling forecastsBusiness partnering financial and non-financial stakeholdersAd hoc analysis required by Business UnitCapex and Investment Committee papers/business casesRequirements
