My client is seeking a proactive and detail driven Senior Finance Assistant to join their finance team and support the day-to-day running of a fast paced, multi-entity business.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit quarterly VAT returns across multiple business entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.Manage intercompany transactions, including invoicing, recharges, reconciliations, and the resolution of any discrepancies.Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts and currencies.Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and other month-end journals.Support the month-end close process and assist in the production of management accounts.Process, review, and maintain accurate records of sales and purchase invoices.Coordinate supplier payment runs and reconcile supplier statements to ensure timely and accurate payments.Maintain and reconcile sales, purchase, and nominal ledgers, ensuring data integrity at all times.Review aged debtor and creditor balances, proactively investigating and resolving outstanding items.Clear historical reconciling items, investigate unreconciled balances, and process approved write-offs where ..... full job details .....
