Senior Finance Analyst

You will assist the Finance Director (UK Reporting, Planning and Financial Control) in ensuring that strong financial control is exercised over the Company by ensuring compliance with Group and Company financial control procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable financial reporting standards (IFRS and FRS 101). Description Lead detailed financial analysis of key general ledger balance sheet accounts, assessing the recoverability and integrity of carrying values, identifying emerging risks, and providing clear explanations of significant movements and trends. Deliver robust analysis of key income statement accounts, investigating material variances, challenging underlying assumptions, and providing meaningful insight into financial performance. Drive the identification and resolution of accounting errors and misclassifications, working with finance teams to ensure the general ledger accurately reflects the underlying commercial activity. Review and challenge key financial reconciliations, including payroll, inter-company and other material balance sheet accounts, ensuring reconciling items are appropriately investigated, resolved and controlled. Ensure financial alignment across UK and international business units on key project balances, identifying inconsistencies and supporting accurate accounting for complex multi-unit projects.
