Senior Finance Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Finance Accountant to provide immediate temporary cover within a busy Finance department. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who can hit the ground running and add value from day one.Assignment Details Include:Start Date: ASAPEnd Date: 30 June 2026Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per weekLocation: Solihull, B91Salary: Hourly rate of £28-£30 per hour dependant on experienceContract Type: Temporary / Interim This role has arisen to provide interim cover while the substantive postholder undertakes other work. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting core financial operations, ensuring continuity and high standards of financial management and reporting.Key duties of the Senior Finance Accountant role:Production of accurate and timely management accountsPreparation of year-end accountsCash flow monitoring and forecastingBudgetary control and working closely with budget holders to resolve financial queriesManaging financial aspects of capital projectsUsing and maintaining computerised accounting systemsProducing high-quality financial reports and analysisTo be considered for the Senior Finance Accountant role:Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or ICAEW)Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)Proven experience producing management accounts and year-end accountsStrong experience in cash flow forecasting and budget managementConfident working with budget holders and senior ..... full job details .....
