Senior Field Engineer Location: Southeast London and surrounding areasJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + £5,000 Car AllowanceAbout the RoleExperience in: Server, Storage and Network devicesWe are recruiting on behalf of a leading channel-only provider of third-party IT maintenance services, who are looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong server, storage and networking experience who enjoys working in the field, solving technical issues and delivering exceptional customer service. You''ll be responsible for supporting a wide range of enterprise IT systems, ensuring they are maintained and restored quickly while meeting agreed service levels.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot and resolve faults across server, storage and network infrastructure.Attend customer sites to provide hardware maintenance, break-fix support and technical assistance.Take ownership of customer incidents from initial diagnosis through to resolution, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved.Investigate technical issues and implement effective solutions with minimal disruption to customers.Arrange replacement parts and coordinate repairs where required.Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams.Assist with pre-sales technical support and solution design when required.Work closely with the Service Desk, ..... full job details .....
