Senior Family Solicitor Annual Salary: Competitive, DOE Location: Farnborough, North Hampshire / Surrey Job Type: Full-time We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Family Solicitor with over 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our highly regarded Family department. This role involves providing expert advice and representation across a broad range of family matters, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to the growth and success of the department. This position is ideal for an experienced family lawyer looking to make a significant impact within a collaborative and ambitious team. Day-to-day of the role: Provide expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child law, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, and domestic abuse cases. Advise clients on legal aid eligibility where applicable and represent them at court hearings. Manage cases from instruction through to conclusion, preparing legal documentation, witness statements, and evidence for hearings. Instruct and liaise with Counsel to ensure the highest standard of representation for clients. Deliver commercially aware, practical legal advice tailored to clients'' individual circumstances. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law legislation, case law, and legal developments. Advise clients on mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes where appropriate.
