Senior External Reporting Manager Location: Leeds / Hybrid (2 days per week in the office) The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior External Reporting Manager to join a well-established and growing organisation undergoing significant transformation and investment across its finance function. Reporting to the Head of External Reporting, you will play a key role across external reporting, technical accounting and governance, working closely with senior stakeholders, auditors and external advisors. This is a technically focused role offering significant exposure to complex transactions, statutory reporting and senior decision-making. Key Responsibilities Provide technical accounting expertise across complex transactions, projects and accounting matters, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. Research and resolve technical accounting issues, preparing papers and recommendations for auditors and senior governance forums. Support the preparation and delivery of Group and local statutory financial statements. Work closely with internal and external auditors throughout the reporting and audit cycle, including year-end activities. Support the assessment and documentation of significant accounting judgements and estimates. Manage recurring external stakeholder reporting, ensuring accurate and consistent information is provided.
