Senior Executive Search Consultant, PROSPECTUS

OverviewSenior Executive Search Consultant – Prospectus. Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in our Holborn office. Salary: Circa £55,000 per annum. Contract: Permanent, Full-time. Prospectus is a certified B Corp recruitment business focused on the not-for-profit sector, connecting talented people with not-for-profit organisations and social purpose businesses across the UK and internationally.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Executive Search team, leading on high-profile Chief Executive, Director-level, and Board appointments across the sector. This is a fast-paced, consultative environment where you will deliver executive search assignments and develop new client relationships to expand Prospectus’ reach in the not-for-profit landscape. This role suits someone from a recruitment background seeking a more purposeful role, or someone from the charity sector applying leadership and recruitment expertise in a new context.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end processes across leadership and board roles, from initial engagement and market mapping to assessment, selection, and placement.
Build and manage your own pipeline of work through networking, external engagement, and business development activity.
Raise the profile of Prospectus and strengthen its position as a trusted partner in executive search.
Qualifications and Skills
Significant experience working with or advising senior stakeholders in a strategic, consultative capacity.
A proven track record of business development, including generating new opportunities and winning work.
Excellent project management skills, balancing multiple assignments effectively.
Commercial awareness with experience exceeding financial targets or KPIs.
Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster trust and credibility.
A consultative and inquisitive approach, demonstrating curiosity and strategic insight.
A genuine interest in leadership within the not-for-profit sector.
