Senior Estimator

A well-established specialist contractor within the external envelope sector is looking to appoint an experienced Facade Estimator to support continued growth across high-value commercial projects.The business delivers a wide range of façade and roofing solutions including rainscreen cladding, SFS, standing seam roofing and full building envelope packages across the UK. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for façade and cladding packages, working closely with suppliers, clients and the wider pre-construction team.Projects range from complex remediation works through to large-scale new build developments. Responsibilities: Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissionsProducing accurate take-offs from drawings using BluebeamReviewing architectural and technical specificationsPricing labour, materials, preliminaries and subcontract packagesIssuing enquiries to suppliers and subcontractorsReviewing quotations and ensuring technical complianceValue engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunitiesAttending client meetings and tender interviewsLiaising with commercial, design and operational teams during handoverManaging RFIs, tender queries and bid documentation Experience: Proven estimating experience within facades, cladding or external envelope systemsStrong knowledge of rainscreen cladding systemsExperience pricing SFS packagesUnderstanding of cavity barriers and non-combustible systemsAbility to read and interpret ..... full job details .....
