Senior Estimator - Main Contractor

Location: West Midlands | Hybrid Working
Salary: -100,000+ Basic + Signing-On Bonus + Excellent Benefits Package

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Estimator to join a highly successful and well-established main contractor specialising in industrial, logistics and commercial construction projects.

We are recruiting exclusively on a retained basis for this key senior appointment, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to play an influential role within the business, reporting directly to the Board.

With approximately 40% of projects secured through negotiated work, this is an opportunity to join a contractor with an established client base, strong repeat business and a healthy pipeline of projects.

• Lead the estimating and tendering process for major construction projects.

• Prepare competitive and commercially sound tenders, predominantly across the industrial and logistics sectors.

• Work closely with the Board and senior management team on tender strategy and project opportunities.

• Develop relationships with clients, subcontractors and supply chain partners.

• Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the pre-construction process.

• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator with an established main contractor.

• Strong track record of tendering industrial, warehouse and distribution projects.

• Excellent commercial awareness and technical estimating knowledge.

• Confident working at senior management and Board level.

• Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills.

• -100,000+ basic salary, depending on experience.
