Senior Estimator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established business at a pivotal stage of growth, supporting the launch of a new main contracting division.The new division will focus on commercial and retail developments, with a strong pipeline of steel-frame warehouse projects valued between £1m and £10m. This is a rare chance to play a key role in shaping a business unit from the ground up.The RoleAs Estimator, you will take ownership of the tendering process while also contributing strategically to the success of this fledgling division. Responsibilities will include:Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for incoming tendersPricing commercial and retail schemes, including steel-frame warehouse developmentsUsing industry contacts and market knowledge to help generate tender opportunitiesSupporting the business in securing positions on frameworks and preferred supplier listsWorking closely with senior management to shape estimating processes and commercial strategyThe Ideal CandidateOur client is seeking an Estimator who combines technical capability with commercial awareness:Proven experience as an Estimator within main contractingBackground in commercial, retail and industrial/warehouse projectsStrong industry contacts and market presenceExperience contributing to business growth, frameworks or new work streams (highly desirable)Ambitious, proactive and keen to be part of a growing division rather than a siloed ..... full job details .....
