Senior Estimator

We are working with an established construction contractor specialising in commercial refurbishment, fit-out and construction projects across London and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team. You will work closely with the commercial, pre-construction and operational teams, managing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission and handover. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission. Review tender documentation, drawings and specifications to fully understand project requirements. Prepare accurate and competitive estimates across a range of construction and refurbishment projects. Carry out detailed quantity take-offs, measurements and pricing. Prepare bills of quantities, preliminaries and detailed tender breakdowns. Identify suitable subcontractors and suppliers and manage the quotation process. Review, compare and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the supply chain. Identify commercial risks, exclusions and opportunities within tender packages. Work closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams to develop buildable and commercially viable solutions.
