Senior Estimator

OverviewAre you an experienced Estimator seeking a new role?

Have you got experience working for a main contractor as the Estimator?

As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in Kent.

Responsibilities

Arrange site inspections

Provide accurate budgets/cost plans

Provide detailed "take-off" and Bill of Quantities (BQ)

Work on traditional Plan and Specification, Design and Build and possibly Partnered Contracts

Obtain competitive prices for materials and sub-contract packages

Oversee or complete quote analysis comparisons

Check and amend rate/price build-ups where necessary

Requirements

Proven experience as the Estimator within the construction industry

Proficiency in estimating software and tools

Strong analytical and mathematical skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
