Senior Estimator

Magenta Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Estimator for a leading construction organisation operating across the UK, delivering high-quality solutions for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, logistics hubs and commercial fit outs. Job Spec Review new tenders to ensure alignment with company objectives Distribute tender packages to competitive subcontractors within 48 hours Attend site visits and inspections to assess project scope and support accurate pricing Analyse subcontractor quotes, direct costs, prelims, and associated risks Compile and adjudicate tenders from start to finish, including bid documentation and cost breakdowns Submit tenders in line with company procedures and attend post-tender interviews Monitor bid success trends and client engagement Manage online tender portals and use various estimating software Work on multiple tenders ranging from 25k to 10M Produce Schedules of Works, Bills of Quantities, and rate compilations Prepare client presentation packs and respond to post-tender queries Support value engineering and internal handovers to the construction team Promote within the supply chain and support team coverage during absences Knowledge around groundworks and structures would be beneficial Benefits: Car Allowance Bonus Scheme following a qualification period 25 days Holiday (rising after 3 years).
