The business is currently expanding and has a vacancy for a Senior Engineering Estimator. The business manufactures precision components for sectors including FMCG processing machinery, transport systems and bottling/canning processes.This role would suit an experienced estimator with experience in mechanical engineering. Experience with plastics would be strongly preferred. The successful candidate will ideally have an engineering background with a strong working knowledge of engineering processes and capabilities.The Senior Estimator will work within a small team responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and technically sound cost estimates for engineering projects.The Senior Estimator Role: Lead the generation of costs and quotations for engineering componentsCollaboration with CAD teams - reviewing engineering / technical drawings and specificationsCustomer Liaison and discussionSource and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractorsIdentification of risks, opportunities, and value engineering options within project estimateAdministering of quote to sales order processMentor junior colleagues The Senior Estimator Candidate: Experience in an estimating roleExperience within ..... full job details .....
