Your new companyYou will be joining a leading UK main contractor with a strong presence across the Midlands and an excellent reputation for delivering major, technically challenging construction projects.The business has a secure pipeline of new-build and large-scale refurbishment schemes, with project values typically ranging from 20m to 100m+. Projects span a diverse range of sectors including Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Industrial and Local Authority.Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of opportunities, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team, based from their East Midlands Region.Your new roleAs Senior Estimator, you will play a key role within the pre-construction team, taking responsibility for producing accurate and competitive tenders for major construction projects throughout the Midlands.Your responsibilities will include:Leading the estimating process on projects ranging from 20m to 100m+Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for new-build and major refurbishment schemesReviewing tender documentation, drawings and specificationsPreparing subcontractor and supplier enquiry packagesAnalysing and evaluating subcontractor quotationsProducing detailed tender adjudications and cost plansIdentifying potential commercial risks and opportunities at tender stageDeveloping competitive and commercially robust tender submissionsWorking closely with Pre-Construction Managers, Planners, Design ..... full job details .....
