Senior Estimator

Are you an experienced Estimator looking for a fresh new start or an exciting change with career progression?

Fawkes and Reece are proud to be working with a leading Tier 2 main contractor based in Hull recruiting for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their dynamic construction team. You will be working on healthcare and education projects that would be typically ranging from -5m - -30m in value. You will be responsible to tenders from enquiry to handover within their commercial team working on both D&B and traditional forms of contract.

Duties Include But Are Not limited Too;

• Attend tender presentations for new projects, contribute, lead commercially and present. Prioritisation of all tenders
• Prepare cost budgets and cost estimates for contracts.
• Ensure that all estimating processes and procedures are followed to deliver a submission following tender settlement.
• Work with surveyors in preparation of quantified schedule of rates and bill of quantities.
• Prepare tender summaries and attend start-up pre-price and price meetings.
• Assist in preparation for settlement meeting enquiries whether risk register, prelims and labour rates have been done.
