Senior EstimatorCambridge 90,000 - 100,000 + Package 90,000 - 100,000 Cambridge PermanentWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Estimator to join a well-established and highly regarded independent MandE contractor based in Cambridge.This is a senior opportunity for an experienced estimator who is looking to take ownership of complex tenders and play a key role in the continued growth of an established engineering business.The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial, design and project teams, playing a key role in developing competitive and commercially robust tenders from initial enquiry through to contract award.The RoleAs Senior Estimator, you will take responsibility for the preparation and management of tenders across a range of high-value MandE projects.You will have significant involvement in the commercial development of projects and will be expected to bring strong technical estimating knowledge, commercial awareness and the confidence to challenge and develop tender solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation and submission of tenders for major MandE projectsReview drawings, specifications, scopes and tender documentationUndertake detailed quantity take-offs and measurementsPrepare detailed labour, material, plant and subcontractor costingsObtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotationsProduce accurate and competitive tender returnsIdentify commercial risks, exclusions, assumptions and opportunitiesWork closely with ..... full job details .....
