The role focuses on estimating works delivered through long-term, regulated frameworks, primarily within the transport and public infrastructure sectors. This is a traditional estimating role, producing accurate, competitive tenders for repeat and negotiated works, as well as competitively tendered projects, within a framework-led environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for civil engineering projects Interpret drawings, specifications and scope documents to produce accurate take-offs Develop pricing from first principles, supply chain quotations and historical cost data Price works typically associated with infrastructure, maintenance and renewal programmes Identify commercial and contractual risks and opportunities within tenders Support tender strategy, bid submissions and internal reviews Work closely with delivery, commercial and operational teams Maintain and develop estimating databases, benchmarks and pricing models Systems & Software Experience using estimating software such as Candy, Conquest or similar would be co...
