      <description>Location: Glasgow | Salary: 65000.00-65000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a well-established infrastructure contractor. The role focuses on estimating works delivered through long-term, regulated frameworks, primarily within the transport and public infrastructure sectors.This is a traditional estimating role, producing accurate, competitive tenders for repeat and negotiated works, as well as competitively tendered projects, within a framework-led environment.Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for civil engineering projectsInterpret drawings, specifications and scope documents to produce accurate take-offsDevelop pricing from first principles, supply chain quotations and historical cost dataPrice works typically associated with infrastructure, maintenance and renewal programmesIdentify commercial and contractual risks and opportunities within tendersSupport tender strategy, bid submissions and internal reviewsWork closely with delivery, commercial and operational teamsMaintain and develop estimating databases, benchmarks and pricing models Systems and SoftwareExperience using estimating software such as Candy, Conquest or similar would be considered an advantage.
