Senior EstimatorPermanent Full-Time DerbyshireWe are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join an established construction contractor on a permanent basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded construction professional to take ownership of the estimating and tendering process, helping secure new projects across a varied portfolio of construction and refurbishment works.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions.Review construction drawings, specifications and tender documentation.Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.Identify commercial risks, cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams throughout the tender process.Support tender negotiations and ensure a smooth handover to project delivery teams.RequirementsProven experience as a Senior Estimator or in a similar construction estimating role.Strong knowledge of construction and refurbishment projects.Excellent commercial awareness, analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant estimating software.Full UK driving licence.What''s on Offer?Permanent, full-time opportunity.Competitive salary and benefits package, dependent on experience.Varied projects across multiple sectors.Supportive working environment with access to senior ..... full job details .....
