Senior Estimator

The Role As Senior Estimator, you will take responsibility for producing accurate, competitive and commercially sound tenders. You will review drawings, specifications and schedules, identify scope gaps and risks, complete detailed take-offs and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. You will work closely with design teams, project managers, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure each tender is fully understood, accurately priced and clearly handed over to the delivery team. Key Responsibilities Review architectural drawings, specifications and design information Complete detailed take-offs and prepare cost estimates Identify scope gaps, design ambiguities and commercial risks Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations Build detailed subcontract packages and pricing breakdowns Use historical project data to improve estimating accuracy Support value engineering and commercial strategy Provide clear cost breakdowns and pricing assumptions at project handover Manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously What Is Offered Salary of £50,000 to £60,000 25 days'' holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme CPD and professional development support Clear progression towards Commercial Manager Employee Assistance Programme Retail and travel discounts Free on-site parking Office and mobile working ..... full job details .....
