Senior Estates Surveyor

Our client is seeking a Senior Estates Surveyor on a contract basis to support the Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management team in delivering a major flood defence project. The role will act as Estates Workstream Lead for the Poole Bridge to Hunger Hill Flood Defence Project, providing professional oversight and advice throughout the delivery of the scheme.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the estates workstream on a major flood defence and coastal erosion risk management projectSupport the Council''s Estates team by reviewing and signing off relevant documentationProvide sound professional advice on estate management, landlord and tenant matters, and acquisition lawReview detailed Heads of Terms, agreements and other estate-related documentsMonitor the delivery of work undertaken by appointed commercial land agents and legal advisersEnsure that the Council''s interests are protected when working with landowners, stakeholders and project partnersCollaborate with the Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management team and wider project specialistsSupport the successful delivery of the flood defence scheme through effective stakeholder and land managementJob Requirements:Significant experience in estate management and surveying, ideally within a public sector, highways or infrastructure environmentProfessional experience leading or overseeing estates workstreams on complex capital projectsStrong knowledge of landlord and tenant law and property acquisition lawExperience ..... full job details .....
