Senior Environmental Manager

We re continuing our partnership with a leading infrastructure business and are looking for an experienced Environmental Manager / Senior Environmental Manager to take the lead across two major London infrastructure projects.Both projects are at an exciting early stage, giving you the opportunity to shape environmental strategy and delivery from the ground up rather than step into an established operation. With complex construction activity, multiple project phases and years of delivery ahead, you ll have genuine scope to influence how these projects are delivered.This is a hands-on role where you ll work directly with Project Directors and project teams, providing authority, challenge and expert environmental guidance.What you''ll be doing: Lead environmental delivery Own environmental management across two major projects, advising senior project leadership and driving high standards on site.Shape the strategy Develop environmental strategies, systems, plans and controls at the earliest stages of project delivery.Drive performance Lead EMS implementation, compliance, audits, monitoring and continual improvement across the projects.Own energy and carbon Support energy and carbon management alongside your core environmental responsibilities, helping drive better project performance.Influence and challenge Be a trusted voice on the project, confidently challenging poor practice and ensuring environmental risks are properly managed.
