Senior Environmental Engineer.

This key role will work directly with the Project Development Manager to support the delivery of the DCO from scoping through pre-application, examination to SoS decision and further. It will also have responsibility for supporting the engineering team on environmental issues.Responsibilities:Management of Environmental consultants to develop Environmental documentationCoordinating with internal and external technical specialist environmental teams to provide sufficient evidence, draft and review DCO documents to support the project.Ensure environmental compliance as part of the application process.Maintain oversight of agreements, criteria, and conditions outlined in the Development Consent Order (DCO), and collaborated with stakeholders, individual packages, and the Consent team to ensure technical compliance.Support the Land Strategy Team in the Land Acquisition process.Review Engineering Contractor/Supplier documentationInterface between engineering Disciplines and DCO ConsultantsProduce progress reports and lead progress meetings with contractors and internal team.Maintain and update the risk register, DCO consent register and other required trackers.Review progress and cost reports from DCO consultantsWho we''re seeking:8-10 years+ experience, including experience on complex, large-scale energy or infrastructure projectsExperience with development of EIA documentationSome knowledge of the DCO process for complex energy projectsKnowledge of environmental elements of DCO processStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsetIf you''re a driven and solution-oriented Environmental Engineer with DCO experience, we would love to hear from you.
