Environmental Advisor

opportunity within a people- focused and innovative consultancy providing excellence to the renewable energy sector and beyond?If the answer to that is a yes, then this is the role and company for you!Multiple positions available for you and your referral!CleanTech Talent are acting as an employment agency for our client who are one of the most promising specialist consultancies in Scotland offering profit share and operating on one of the most meaningful projects in the energy transition.You will receive guidance and technical support with specific training and mentoring combined with work ownership on site coupled with a generous salary and benefits package.The RoleProject management and onsite construction phase supportSupport clients in the post planning consent and construction phasesInfluence design, develop and review environmental management project documentsProvide site based environmental management, advisory services and site based environmental assurance support.Weekly site visits requiredKey Attributes RequiredUK driving licence3 years+ onsite construction environmental advisory experienceWorking to project deliverables and managing workloadA relevant degree in Environmental Management or a related disciplineExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSolid time management and record keeping.Working knowledge of environmental and ecological constraints during construction, along with appropriate mitigation measuresAn understanding of current environmental legislation, policy trends, guidance and regulatory frameworksExperience working with contractors to deliver advice and mitigation on site to ensure client commitments are metAbility to build effective relationships with clients, contractors and regulators;An understanding of current environmental legislation, policy trends and guidanceAn understanding of relevant regulatory framework e.g. CAR, SuDS, EIA, flood risk;A good understanding of standard guidance for pollution prevention;Demonstrable problem solving/contingency planning skills with ability to find quick, innovative and practical solutions;A current CSCS card (can be supplied for new applicants)Membership of the Association of Environmental Clerks of Works (AECoW).Whats in it for you?Company Pension contribution at 7%Health and Wellbeing and Volunteer daysPrivate Health insuranceEV Salary Sacrifice SchemeProfit Share SchemeA flexible working week site based and remoteInvestment in your training and successFull project lifecycle workEstablished benefits of working with a dynamic and growing organisationBespoke training allowanceWhats next?APPLY now for more information or contact Jim Merryfield.Feel as though you don''t hit all the criteria?
