Senior Engineering Manager Critical Environments EMEA / APAC — RBCThe opportunity involves providing strategic management and direction for all critical infrastructure engineering within the RBC EMEA / APAC portfolio. You will partner with the Critical Environments EMEA / APAC team and report into the Director of CE Operations. The role is office-based with four days per week in the office.What is the opportunity?

In the role of Senior Manager Engineering Critical Environments, your objective is to optimize critical infrastructure engineering within the RBC EMEA / APAC portfolio and lead the running of the Critical Environments portfolio in collaboration with the CE Operations team.What will you do?

Responsibility for daily Critical Engineering ensuring 100% Up-Time of Critical Environments within Europe and Asia.Respond to emergency situations; communicate with stakeholders and management through RBC-defined processes during emergencies.Mechanical and electrical engineering subject matter expert including UPS, emergency power generators, power, HVAC, building controls, and fire suppression systems.Lead for UK/EMEA/APAC Critical Environment Engineering Support and Colo Data Centers.Lead the development of technical standards, policies, procedures, and documentation to support CE Engineering Operations; ensure alignment with business needs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Lead in providing technical review of MOP / EOP processes across EMEA / APAC for standardization of content and format.Subject matter expert for engineering support regarding audit and compliance within CE EMEA / APAC; provide technical review and sign-off.Oversee/monitor the Critical Environment Preventative Maintenance Program from an engineering perspective.Develop reliable and cost-effective solutions, technical standards and policies that support the Critical Facility.What do you need to succeed?
