Senior Engineer

OCS are currently recruiting for an established and highly respected main contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Engineer to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Senior Engineer who has experience delivering complex substructure and superstructure packages, ideally with a background in cut and carve / complex refurbishment schemes. This is not a role for someone looking purely for straightforward new-build work. The projects require strong engineering knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to work through complex construction challenges in live and constrained environments. THE OPPORTUNITY You''ll play a key role in the technical delivery of major and technically challenging projects, working closely with the Project Manager, Design Team, Site Management and specialist subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include: Managing engineering activities across substructure and superstructure Setting out and dimensional control Reviewing drawings, specifications and design information Managing technical queries and design coordination Working closely with temporary works and specialist subcontractors Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design and specification Identifying and resolving technical issues on site Supporting programme and construction planning Managing technical documentation and inspection processes Coordinating interfaces between existing structures and new construction ..... full job details .....
