Senior Engineer

A well-established specialist rail and infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Engineer to join their project team on a major station upgrade project in North London. This is a strong opportunity for a Senior Engineer with experience working within rail, civils, station upgrades or complex infrastructure projects to take a key engineering role on a high-profile project. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, taking ownership of the engineering delivery and supporting the project from construction through to completion. The Role As Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical and engineering aspects of the works, ensuring that construction is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the approved design and project requirements. Managing and coordinating engineering activities across the project Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information Setting out and checking works on site Managing technical queries, RFIs and design changes Liaising with the design team, consultants, client and subcontractors Supporting the Project Manager with technical and engineering matters Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with the approved design Monitoring quality and ensuring relevant inspection and test plans are followed Producing and maintaining as-built information Coordinating surveys and setting-out requirements Assisting with planning, sequencing and ..... full job details .....
