      <description>Location: London | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Contract | Engineer - Built Environment / Track and Value Improvement  Contract London Hybrid Working We are recruiting for an Engineer to support engineering-led maintenance optimisation, standards challenge and value improvement initiatives within a major rail environment. We are open to candidates at all levels of experience, from engineers looking to develop their asset management and optimisation experience through to experienced engineers with strong technical and analytical backgrounds.  The Role - Review and challenge existing maintenance regimes, technical requirements and specifications. - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and optimise maintenance strategies. - Analyse maintenance, asset performance and technical data to support recommendations. - Support cost modelling, benefits assessments and savings tracking. - Produce clear technical reports, business cases and presentations. - Work with engineering, maintenance, Procurement, Finance, Planning and external suppliers. - Support value-chain, contract and supply-chain analysis. - Manage multiple workstreams and maintain clear records of actions and findings.
